THE FIRST INSIGNIA

Created some time on the fourth quarter of 1998.  This was the first and only logo that was with the fraternity.  The logo was developed right at its own Mother Chapter, SLS - Don Bosco by Jake Lester & Rey Dennis.  It took them three months to complete the logo.

FIRST INSIGNIA
THE ACCEPTED EMBLEM

This was first released through a print-out on June 1999 as a sample of a suggested emblem. It was well accepted and later on became the widely used version of the logo.  Was created by the Grand President Undefiable, Brod. Jake Lester Duhaylungsod.

ACCEPTED EMBLEM
THE OFFICIAL LOGO

The official logo of the IUF since August 1999.  Again, developed by Brod. Jake "LordAx|s" Duhaylungsod. The emblem further enhanced the previous versions.  The logo depicts grandeur and the reality of a better brotherhood in the golden circle.

  chronicle and significance

The character of an IUF put together was a concept and design of BRO. ACE CAPILI in the eve of 12 JULY 1998.  He exacted his co-founder, BRO. DENNIS CABALLERO, to further enhance the logo in one week and to search for a name to complement his suggestion of the word Undefiable which should begin  with an “I”.

Several figures were developed but all were non-satisfactory;  Deadline was fast approaching, it was already Thursday and still nothing.

By the dawn of Friday -- 17 July 1998 -- in the account of Bro. Dennis Caballero:

I was still in the state of sleep by then, and then I saw in my dream Jesus in front of me.  It was the same Jesus in the famous “3 o’clock Prayer” image.  And then I asked him, ‘What should the name be, oh Lord?’  Then he uttered the words: ’INTERMINABLY UNDEFIABE.’

Then suddenly, a lucid image appeared in front of Him; full of brightness; the image in golden shade.  It was the logo we have now.  Then, on top of the character “I” of a combined IUF came out a triangular polygon.

I woke up after and hurriedly sketched the emblem with the words Interminably Undefiable.

I could never tell anybody by then about this.  All I can do was to present my suggestion.  I was afraid of being a subject of ridicule.

Upon contemplating on what that vision meant, I realized that Jesus didn’t tell me to institute the IUF but he advocated our dream of a brotherhood.

For me, the pyramid and the triangle represent the perfectness and the strength of the brotherhood for the Bible tells us that God is symbolized by these very symbols also.

It is our challenge then to stay to what we believed in and remembering that morning as I searched for meanings, I found that INTERMINABLY UNDEFIABLE means Forever Unchangeable.

Our brotherhood will always be  FOREVER UNCHANGEABLE.”
